I met Gentile at the Asher Theatre in Myrtle Beach where he was doing a show. His distinctive voice and eloquence immediately stood out. James, the owner of the theatre commented on his sartorial suit. His outfit was undeniably classy. After being invited to speak at his church I could see what had clearly shaped his life. GOD. His church was very warm and loving just like he is. He flew me, my assistants and guests, provided great accommodations and fed us deliciously. Gentile has a genuine magnetism in his personality and is always positive, and inspiring. He sees evil in no one, even when it seems apparent to others. He is truly a gifted teacher of God, and dynamic preacher of God. His wife, too, carries a special elegance and grace that is so befitting of what they are about, and their generosity to others. If I were in North Carolina my church membership would be with Gentile. He is a well-rounded renaissance man. For example, he s an accomplished jazz musician and recognized by The Kennedy Center for his contribution to jazz, and his music has appeared with Oscar Peterson the jazz great and is played in rotation with Tiffany Stores in California. I learned recently he books are sold in physical stores in Washington State and California, and in New York, he does voiceovers, he is a best selling author of Three Rims and a Hubcap, regional tv host on CBS affiliate WBTW-13, a veteran pastor since being a teenager, philanthropist, and just a cool neat guy. One of things that I ll always remember is Gentile saying "I really enjoy pastoring simple people and their families who just want to understand how God works and who He is. Megachurches can be too impersonal and I d rather see God s People as one of His Families on earth showing the world how to Love and how to honor the Father through Christ our Lord!"
